نحنا لبعضنا

لقاء نحنا لبعضنا بين تلاميذ مدرسة سيدة اللويزة، فرع الانكليزي والست سعدا
This picture was taken on May 2nd, 2007, in the chaple of the Holy Family School in Batroon, for the occasion of a memorial Divine Liturgy for the repose of the soul of Fouad and his daughter Jeanne d'Arc. Aunt Saada appears all in black in the middle, surrounded by the NDL students and her two granddaughters to the extreem right.
This Community Service project is a joint one between the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) and Notre Dame of Louaize School (NDL). It consisted of assisting several people in dire need for social and financial support. NDL students have been in charge of providing the social support to these families. The case of Aunt (teta) Saada in Batroon, was entrusted to the care of 1st & 2nd secondary NDL students in the English Section. Long the program, Fouad the husband of Saada passed away, and the old lady in black in the picture gave up all sorts of celebrations, and insisted on remaining indoors, alone with the memories of her beloved departed husband.
The hard work and perseverance of our students paid back, and they convience aunt Saada to go out "only to the Church" to take part in a Mass, to be offered for the repose of the soul of her husband and daughter.
A BIG thanks goes to NDL students, their teacher in charge of the project A. Hanna, LBC & all benefactors that made this project possible.
